Since I joined the San Diego CCH class my skill at prescribing through the "Sankaran System" has grown exponentially. I don't know if it's more the excellent teaching or simply the osmosis of modeling the interviewing style and analysis that has been more valuable, but I am much more often "aceing" the first time now, as well as being able to successfully "clean up" past cases when I had prescribed with much less understanding. I highly recommend this class, In fact, I can't imagine practicing this method without the monthly input of knowledge and insight gained from Bill, Cheryl and Robert.

" This is my fifth year studying homeopathy. The last year and a half I've been studying the Vital Sensation method.
This has been deeply enlightening for me.
Understanding the experience of our patients through the chief complaint and all the way to where the body and the mind meet is crucial for a successful prescribing.
When I first started to study homeopathy, I was taught that delusion is the deepest part of the human experience, and indeed, remedies were proven only to that level. I was taught to gather symptoms, see where I can find them in the Repertory, and through the addition of the rubrics get to the remedy.
I went through homeopathic treatment, and was familiar enough with the concept and the process to understand why the results were so poor. It is because the case was not perceived deeply enough. If one does not get the deepest part of the case, one lacks the code which deciphers the riddle. Through the Vital Sensation method one learns the technique of how to go with our patients to the realm where the disease is easily perceived, so we know what it is that we are trying to remedy. We can then see the picture very clearly, and very deeply- we have the code! One learns to follow the energy of the case and thenonce the patient is understood, mirror it with whatevr it is that experiences its existence the same way the patient expresses his suffering to be.
Through the teaching We learn to know our medicines in a deep, intimate way. We develop the understanding of different kingdoms and sub-kingdoms out of which our remedies are made. We develope the understanding of miasms, concepts of disease and health, etc.

CCHE has provided a consistent, supportive study group model that allows participants to grow as homeopaths and as people. I've had the good fortune of being exposed to the Vital Sensation method, almost from the first of my formal education. When we were first introduced to these ideas through Bill, they were considered by many, to be unproven--just another theory, and managed to create huge controversy in the homeopathic community. There was a small, core group of us students who were lucky enough to have Bill as our study group teacher and mentor. Enlivened and inspired by what he showed us, it became apparent that we would flourish best, in a less conflicted atmosphere. Thus, was the concept born, for a program that would concentrate solely on this method, and the real-life development of each student, as a true Practitioner of the Art of Homeopathy. That program is CCHE, and as I've watched it unfold and evolve, I continue to feel fortunate and blessed for having been a part of it from the first.
There are many things that make this program stand out, but I think the chief one has to be the teachers. Bill is the most dynamic teacher I've had the privilege of studying under. He brings a keen mind, a love for the truth, compassion for his patients, and a great passion for this Art. He has that rare ability to not only be able to excel at his life's work, but to also, be able to convey the “how to”, to others. He is able to convey it in a memorable way. He has refined the art of case-taking, to a fine degree. It's a pleasure to watch and learn, as he draws out the sensation and the source, of everything from the most basic polycrests to the most bizarre substances. I have not seen such clearly presented, interesting (and fun!) cases as his, in any other class or seminar that I've been to, to date. Bill's quick mind and wonderful wit ensure that one will never be bored. I've watched as he has evolved and sharpened his grasp of this method. It is no longer “just a good theory”, but is now a solid, reliable method for being able to assist patients on their road to true healing.
The people Bill has surrounded himself with are, without exception, simply outstanding. Each one brings to the classroom their own unique talents and ways of presenting this method to us. Cheryl, in particular, makes this program shine, with her seemingly unlimited ability to organize and create the vast amounts of research, power point presentations, and notes that we receive, each and every class. I have never been to any other seminar or class that comes even close to giving you this level of useful, beautifully presented, easily accessed information. This in itself is worth the cost of the class each month.
One of the best things I've gotten from CCHE is that sense of camaraderie and community, that you just don't get from going to a seminar 2 or 3 times a year. Real-life practice can sometimes be very lonely. It's nice to connect with like-minded homeopaths, to confer with one of my colleagues about a case, and feel confident that we will have the same level of understanding. There's a deep level of intimacy, support, and care for each other in this program, from both the faculty and the other participants.
It has also given me a level of confidence and surety in my abilities as a homeopath, where I have been able to develop my own practice, with a fair degree of success. I have come away each month with a more highly developed understanding, and renewed enthusiasm. Not once have I felt like it was a waste of my time or money. I would highly recommend this program for any serious student or practitioner of homeopathy.
